Customer Service Representative Reports to:

Responsibilities:
Crown O'Maine is wholesale food distribution business - our clients are buyers at retail stores, restaurants, distributors, and buying clubs in Maine, NH, MA.
This position is a combination of customer service and inside sales work with our buying community to promote local and organic foods, manage the order process, and follow up on customers concerns and requests.
The responsibilities of a Customer Service Rep are to promote a high quality customer experience by answering phones and emails, processing orders, researching customer requests, communicating status of orders, setting up accounts, calling customers for orders, assisting General Manager with product listings and email communications.
This position is well suited to a person looking for a schedule compatible with a local school schedule! Key
Responsibilities:
Work with sales team to ensure high quality order processing.
Work with office team to ensure high quality communications with customers and stakeholders.
Review sales orders and communicate order status with clients.
Make calls to customers to solicit orders.
Make calls to inform customers about new products or product availability.
Maintain clean and accurate data to support sales efforts.
Assist with sales communications as needed.
Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards Additional responsibilities as required.
Consults with:
General Manager Sales Rep Terms of Employment:
Part Time - approx 20-30 hrs per week
Qualifications:
Fluent with MS Word, Outlook Able to work within a database to process orders (training provided) Able to make 20-30 consecutive phone calls soliciting orders from established customers.
Able to produce high quality work and able to self-review work products for accuracy.
1-2 years experience in a food or farming related position.
Track record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
Good attitude and willingness to lead by example Strong time management skills as well as attention to detail and follow through Able to work seated in an office environment for four to six hours, with appropriate breaks.
Able to lift 50 pounds on occasion.
Education:
High School or Equivalent Deep knowledge of Maine's food system is a plus, but not required.
